Board

Family Service of Eastern Novas Scotia is governed by a volunteer board of twelve directors who represent the geographical diversity of the agency.  This is a policy governing board which is responsible for overseeing the accomplishment of the purpose of the Agency.  The Board has written bylaws, committee terms of reference, roles and responsibilities, an orientation document and evaluation forms. All Board Members participate in Vulnerable Persons Screening Checks.

Board Members serve a three year term with the opportunity to renew their position for one further term.
