Family Service of Eastern Nova Scotia does sometime charges a fee for counselling BUT we will never turn someone away who is not able to pay. When you speak to our intake worker, they will talk with you about whether or not you will pay a fee and work with you to make sure you can afford any fee that might be charged.

Individuals who are referred directly to our programs by the Department of Community Services are not charged a fee.
