Family Service of Eastern Nova Scotia workers regularly offer a variety of workshops to community groups, workplaces and other professionals.

Fees for workshops will vary depending on the sponsoring organization, number of participants and length of workshop.

Programs

Cooperative Parenting Through Separation and Divorce

An eight week program designed to help parents raise their children in a cooperative environment following separation and divorce. Topics include: communication, conflict resolution, understanding children’s behaviour and parent/child relationships.

Anger Management

This is a multi-week group program to help clients understand anger, identify situations that lead to anger, learn about types of anger and learn new coping strategies. 
 This is a great opportunity to learn from others and develop new skills to manage challenging situations.

Kid Power Camp

Four day summer camps designed to help kids, have fun, learn about themselves and build self-esteem.

Active Parenting

A program that can be offered one-on-one or in a group to help you learn new skills as a parent to manage difficult situations and improve your relationships with your child.
